Gavin's First Haircut*

On Saturday, Gavin got his first official haircut. He surprised everyone. It was a totally squirm-free and squeal-free adventure. He was in and out of the chair in just about 5 minutes. He looks like quite the big boy now!






*If you don't count the time that Mom cut his hair while he was in the bathtub!

Welcome President Obama!

Although we missed the inaugural festivities on Tuesday, Gavin was still able to show his Obama pride this week thanks to Drew and Jill. Gavin is so thrilled with our new president that he recognizes him whenever we see him -- in the newspaper, on the TV, or at the Eastern Market vendor stands. Rob was bragging that Gavin never learned to say Bush or McCain. Right on cue, Gavin said, Bush! I suppose, he was just representing President Obama's bipartisanship spirit!
