So after returning from a pre-dinner grocery shopping trip, Gavin started investigating our produce purchases. At first, he was interested in the blueberries. When he couldn't get those open on his own, he found this jalapeno pepper. As you can see, he wasn't shy and took a seriously big bite! Rob and I quickly noticed the discarded pepper and were speechless waiting to see his reaction. His initial big grin quickly turned into a red face and tears. After a big glass of milk, some crackers, and a couple of hugs, he was rehabilitated.
We told him that Uncle Andy would be proud of his spicy appetite! Plus, he possibly saved Mom an early delivery, since 1/4 of the pepper for tomorrow night's jerk chicken recipe is missing!
