Matt and Emily's Wedding Weekend!

We just returned from a fabulous weekend in Vermont for Matt and Emily's wedding. It was truly a fairy tale wedding and so much fun! Here's just a few of our favorite pictures. What a great trip!

Land of the Waterfalls

We are having a great time exploring western North Carolina. On our way there, we stopped in Durham for the night and visited the Duck Shop on Sunday where Gavin picked out a Duke football. We told him that the basketball was a better choice, but he insisted on a football!

Our first day in Brevard, we enjoyed the pool and the pretty views from our house. On Tuesday, we toured the Biltmore and saw 54 rooms (gorgeous!). Gavin was a really good sport. He was treated to a petting zoo at the Biltmore's farm and some ice cream. Yesterday, we hiked out to a beautiful waterfall called Bridal Veil Falls. The map told us that it was a "total of 2.1 miles," but we later learned that was one way! Thank goodness. Otherwise, we were REALLY slow!

We are enjoying a rainy day today. We visited the Pisgah Wildlife Center and Fish Hatchery where Gavin got a kick out of feeding the trout!

It's been a great week so far. We just wish the time didn't go so fast.

Birthday Bubbles!

We had a great party on Saturday before heading out for our vacation in the mountains. Gavin had about 10 little friends attend, which was really cool. Everyone enjoyed the bubbles, the cake, and the playground. It was a perfect morning! Just a couple of photos below . . . more to come thanks to Auntie Jill.
