These Kids are Growing Up!

Amidst the chaos of moving and trying to feel settled in our temporary apartment, these kids are growing up before our eyes!

Molly had her first haircut, which culminated in her first set of pigtails.  So cute!

Gavin didn't wait long to check out his new baseball team, the Reds.  He still sported his Nats hat.

We even had our first family bowling outing.  Gavin beat both Mom and Dad!

Last Hurrah

Before we officially left DC, we took the kids to a Nationals game.  (And, we mean right before we left DC, as we left the game, picked up our trailer and commenced our 8 hour drive to Ohio!)

A baseball game was the perfect way for Gavin to say goodbye to his best buddy, Jack.

These guys will see each other again soon as we plan to return to DC to celebrate Gavin's 4th birthday over Memorial Day week.  Plus, they've been pretty good pen pals so far!

Moving Day!

At the end of March, we packed up our home in Washington, DC after almost 7 years and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio.  It was certainly an emotional journey as we've had so many wonderful memories at 404 10th Street SE.

Here's our last family picture from our living room sofa, along with a few pictures of some of the things that we'll miss about our old Victorian rowhouse in DC's best neighborhood (we're biased, of course!).

While we're sad to leave all the memories, charm, and character behind, we're very excited about the lovely old home that we are soon to own in Cincinnati.  We close on May 20 and move in at the beginning of June.  Pictures coming soon . . .
