Our overwhelmingly family favorite was the Mad Teacups. We rode them at least three different times.
Of course, Molly really enjoyed seeing and then meeting various Disney princesses. Gavin was a good sport as well. We met Merida from Brave, Cinderella, Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, and Rapunzel.
No trip to Disney is complete without meeting Mickey Mouse. Despite only four fingers, here he is signing the kids' Disney storybooks.
Pooh and Tigger were a fun surprise, too!
Another favorite ride was Flying Dumbo. Molly and I were thrilled to ride a purple Dumbo.
When we returned on our second day, the one ride that the kids couldn't wait to do was the race cars. Both Molly and Gavin were in the driver's seat. Molly and Mom left a little metal on the track as we practiced our steering.
Tom Sawyer's Island with its fort and caves was a hit with both the kids. Despite all the princess mania, Molly proved to be a bit of a tom-boy as she scouted the caves and "shot" a rifle to protect the fort.
If you look close below, you might be able to see Gavin and Rob zooming by on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad roller coaster. Gavin rode back-to-back with Mom and then Dad. So fun!
One thing that we'll never forget is Molly's enthusiastic waving at all the characters as they passed during the street parades. She got quite a few waves and kisses blown her way!
What a magical experience for us all. We can't wait to go back again.
