This weekend, we had lots of fun with Auntie Laura and Grammy. Gavin got to go to his buddy Benny's birthday party on Saturday. It was held in conjunction with Truck Touch. An annual event where DC brings out all its trucks for the kids to explore. It was super fun!
Gavin got to ride in a bucket truck just like Grandpa.
He rode in the back of the ladder truck where his favorite fireman, the tillerman, sits.
By the end, we were all pretty beat after spending a hour or more on hot asphalt touring the trucks.
Brother and sister sharing morning cheerios.
The rest of the weekend, we hit the pool to stay cool and laid low. Here's Molly demonstrating her newest skill -- the wave!
