We're long overdue for blog updates . . . We've been fortunate to take two terrific vacations with family this summer (pictures coming soon). And, we also had some special summer visitors.
Auntie Jill and Uncle Drew came to visit in June. We were able to spend a fun afternoon biking on the Loveland trail. We did about 30 miles on two tandem bikes (Gavin on one!) and another single bike with a bike trailer attached for Molly. We finished up the ride with yummy shaved ice. Gavin's chose the tiger's blood flavor. Can you tell?
In July, Gavin's best buddy from DC, Jack, and his family stayed with us for a weekend. It was so fun to see them again and show them all of our favorite spots in Cincinnati. Since the boys are huge baseball fans, we went to a Red's game.
We also took a trip to the Newport aquarium. See the big pink crab behind Molly and Mary Kyle.
Jack and Gavin are definitely buddies for life, and it was neat to see Molly and Mary Kyle hit it off too!
